This project was a part of the test task for a company where I was interviewed for a UI/UX Designer role. Not wanting my efforts to go to waste, I've decided to share this work in my portfolio while hiding any sensitive information.
Timeline

Background
The website is specialised in providing information about online sports betting and iGaming providers in Brazil. It didn't have any reporting system, and my challenge was to create one from scratch. It had to be seamlessly integrated into the existing site. Prior to that, I had already created a document (that I won't be sharing here) where I had analysed the website from UI and UX perspectives, so I was familiar with the design patterns of this particular website. Therefore some of my design decisions (ex. font, accent colour) were based on the information I gathered.
This category details the step-by-step approach taken during the project, including research, planning, design, development, testing, and optimization phases.
Research & Planning
Despite being limited by the strict deadline, I dedicated some time to benchmark the websites that could be considered competitors. Based on my research, Askgamblers.com appeared to be a good example in terms of UI/UX. It is a well-known international affiliate website with a well-established feedback system.
Design & Prototyping
During my design explorations, I focused on essential components such as statistics, a filtering system, and a user-friendly "Submit a Complaint" form. By refining the iterations, I ensured the final design was both functional and user-centric.
After iterating through several low and mid-fidelity wireframes, I developed a solution that addressed all requirements and was adaptable across all viewports.
Final Design
It displays the statistics on the website's response rate, average waiting time, and other metrics that help gauge the company's reliability. Users can view previously submitted reports, which can be organised by category or filtered by status, indicated with colour coding.
Functionality & User Centrism
"Submit a complaint" button expands into a comprehensive form that users need to fill out to file their report. Users select one of six categories and specify the website. The process is completed when the 'Submit' button is clicked. A follow-up notification is then sent, informing users about the next steps.
Final Step
After sending the report, users see a notification confirming the submission date and providing a link to check its status: Pending, Resolved, Unresolved.
